Datnioides Campbelli originate from New Guinea and can be distinctively identified with their "blurry" bar patterns and golden color. This species of datnoid are rare and harder to find. 
 
They are ambush predators that feed on crustaceans, insects and smaller fish. These fish will typically gather as juveniles and become solitary as adults.
